Tim McQuay's version of the extra low moose tree is extremely narrow with a very tight, deep seat and forward hung stirrups. The stainless steel in skirt dees are moved further back to position the saddle correctly on the horses back. If a trainer can be judged by his wins and the wins of his students and the horses he trained, then Tim McQuay stands out as a true champion in the history of reining competition.

Tree: Armor-Tex Saddlesmith. Gullet: 6", Gullet Height: 7 3/4", Bars: Semi Quarter Horse, Seat:16"; sand suede. Cantle: 3 1/2" Basket stamped stainless laced. Horn: Short neck pleasure; braided rawhide. Rigging: In skirt stainless steel dropped dee eliminates bulk under fenders and side to side shifting. Finish: Rich Natural Gold; hand stamped basket tooling; roughout jockey and fenders. Trim: Hand engraved Sterling silver. Stirrups: 2" bell style; hand laced rawhide cover.
