PRO-TRAINER® is our own brand. We assure you that only the most expensive hand selected bridle leather is used. We make Pro-Trainer® saddles and strap goods on 3 continents: Europe, North America and South America. The saddle panels contain a proprietary wool/closed cell vinyl foam sandwich which maintains its shape. Trees are available in three or more widths. Our standard tree fits most normal American Thoroughbreds. The medium tree is over an inch wider and fits Arabs, Morgans, etc. The wide trees is for horses with wide backs and / or virtually no withers (e.g. large Warmbloods, Quarter Horses, Percherons). Pro-Trainer® bridles and strap goods are selected to match our saddles and meet the same quality standards.

  Domma Hi-Tech Horse Boots and Pads from the U.K. are exclusively distributed by Thornhill to the U.S. market. Their products use TPR, a product that is far
superior to PVC, which is used in numerous high priced European products. These products provide the best features, even when compared to the Italian boots we offered for many years. The anti-slip pads are unequaled in the market place.


JORGE CANAVES® saddles have been distributed by us since 1983. Canaves copies "great" European saddles in his plants since his retirement from Olympic competition in 1964. Canaves is one of two quality saddle makers in Argentina. He builds primarily for the European market.




GRADY AND SHANNON are marks of Thornhill for products made to our specifications by Pakistani Saddlers with over 50 years commercial experience. "Grady" and "Shannon" are the only reasonably priced children's saddles in tree widths to fit ponies. Products are selected for serviceability and value and are entry models for adults. Shannon Strap goods offer English leather and stainless buckles at very affordable prices in warmblood, horse, cob and pony sizes.


ABBEYTM is our finest English leather strap goods line. It is made by highly trained British Craftsmen to very exacting standards. Bridles are available in dark brown, oak tan, and black. The line includes premium leathers and strap goods.


EZ-LOADER® is our line of saddle carrying bags featuring double zippers on the large side so that one person can load a saddle without help.  The line also includes boot and bridle bags.
EQUINE ATHLETICS, founded in 1999, designs and manufacturers English riding apparel for competitive athletes.   With their uniquely designed line of stretch hunt coats, Equine Athletics was instrumental in turning the industry focus toward more sport oriented riding apparel for the show ring.  
The GERMANIA® line consists of renowned German products, modified by a German saddler, with the help of American Olympic riders at Southern Pines over a two year period. The three saddles are the result of this Americanization.
