International Customers A Note to Our Friends Overseas: *We LOVE shipping internationally, but due to the large volume of requests we get for international shipping quotes (and how time consuming it is to look them up), we decided to offer this page to give an approximation of about what it actually costs to ship a saddle overseas. With insurance, through USPS (which costs less than half of what UPS charges) it can cost anywhere from $175.00 to $375.00 US Dollars. Most western saddles in the box with extra packaging materials weigh about 48 lbs. We base our shipping quotes on this. Most countries have limits on the weight and dimensions they will allow on a package. A lot of times a saddle box must be cut down a few inches to accommodate your countries requirements. We take every precaution possible not to jeopardize the structural integrity of the box and will add more packing to it if necessary than what it had when it reaches our shop.
Most of our international customers have their products in approx 3-4 weeks depending on item availability, ship time and time spent in customs. We have no control over how long customs decides to keep your item before releasing it to you. Also, some countries, (like Australia) may require a gamma ray process for leather saddles or tack made with rawhide. It is up to the customer to find this out along with any duty, taxes or restrictions. We will not be responsible for any additional charges after the order reaches customs. We will be happy to assist with any additional requested paperwork (if at all possible). *Most bridles and breast collars will cost anywhere from $25 to $40 depending on your country's rates.
